I write this blog about my journey for these past few days as my first assignment for creative thinking.
so before i go on writing bout my journey, i want to tell you guys bout myself first,,hehe :D
My name is Ayu and i'm from a little city called jogjakarta in Indonesia and believe me before i got here,I mean in Singapore ,I had a very normal life,schooling as a social student in Stelladuce 1 SHS,I have no art background because i didn't have any art classes before so yea ,i'm such a beginner in this fine art department of Nafa and of course i'm very anxious about it but i'm here to learn and develop my raw talent at drawing ,painting ,and my sense of art but believe me ,since i was a kid i found that drawing and painting are my biggest passion in my life cause with those activity i can find my piece and forget about everything cause all i think about is I'm in a middle of something to express myself and also doing something that making me happy inside and out so that's why i picked fine art at the first place...
Everyday i always go to foodcourt with or without my friends...my daily foodcourt that i always go to are Broadway,Kopitiam, and Albert center .. two days ago ,i went to broadway with my friends..i have 4 close friends ..my friends are Karina(my classmate) ,Jesu ,Jobe, and Aurel. we were clicked to each other from the first time so now we always spend our time together and like almost.. alllll theeee ttiiiimmeeeeee... wwkwkwk ;D .Ok ,let's go back to the time when i was in broadway foodcourt..i bought a soup and chicken rice and the soup felt so hot in my mouth but it tasted salty and delicious though and i also drank pokka ice lemon tea and when i held it ,it felt a bit cold actually but also tasted very nice ;))
When we finished our meals ,we went outside the foodcourt and we were also trying to find inspiration for our blog homework.. so i found so many things actually such as when i walked up stairs which is the way out ,i held this place to hold on to ,it made of some kind of metal ,and my hand was feeling cold ,slippery,and also wet for some reason ,i also i felt the wind moving the trees back and forth ,it was cold but also warm ..and after that we continue walking on the street and when i look around ,i saw a big truck riding so fast on the road and i also heard the voice of its tires like scratching towards the surface of the road. After that ,we went to guardian shop because my friend (Aurel)wanted to buy a toothpaste but when i wanted to go in,i pulled the door out and my hand felt so cold because it made by metal or some kind of iron material..and when i went in,i touched the glass of the shop and it feels so cold ,but i also found the floor was interesting,i could feel the texture was funny,it was bulging? ,i don't know how to say it but you can see it in the picture,
And after that ,we went outside again after she had bought her stuff,when we continue walking ,we found few birds hanging on some kind of stick made of metal i guess and their voices are like 'kaaakk kaaakkk',but i don't know why the people here cannot give them any food ,but in my opinion ,they're a very cute population to be saved by the singapore government and also the people surround it.;)))
well, i guess that's all that i want to reflect or tell about my experiences for the past few days <3
I really do feel that i'm very interested to live in Singapore ,i mean its because the weather is not too hot compare the weather in Jogja,and i'm very comfortable with how the people can be organized by the rules and government ,so yea i found the place that i can be fit in.
This assignment really taught me how to get my senses sharp and very aware to my environment for my everyday life because without realizing what my senses could feel ,it's not the way i can appreciate life ..=)
So, I've found so many things that interesting but i guess i could give it for the next assignment..=D
